The Fast Reactor Research Group has recently started as a new research focus within the Nuclear & Radiological Engineering program of Georgia Tech. The FRRG's main objective is to support the sustainable expansion of environmentally benign nuclear energy by closing the nuclear fuel cycle. The FRRG researches the nuclear fuel cycle, and designs and studies the reactors to obtain the goal of a closed nuclear fuel cycle.
